How Onda handles your data
Each workspace is separate and only its members can see it. Data is hosted with Render in the United States, integration credentials and webhook secrets are encrypted, and customer data isn't shared with other New Odyssey products or used to train AI models.
What Onda holds
- Account details: email address, name if added, and the sign-up source.
- Assistants: business details, conversation design, safety rules, approved releases and the knowledge you add.
- Conversations: transcripts, caller details, actions taken and outcomes, under each assistant's retention setting. Audio is never recorded.
- Photos customers send in typed conversations with an assistant that books jobs, kept with the job.
- Integration access for calendars, HubSpot and field-service tools, encrypted.
- Billing: plan, subscription status and minutes used. Card details are held by Stripe.
How long it’s kept, and how to export or delete it
Transcripts and caller details are deleted automatically after the assistant's retention period (30 days unless you change it). Owners can export everything at any time and delete the whole workspace, which takes effect immediately; hosting backups expire on Render's standard schedule.

Who processes it
Service providers (subprocessors), each on our instructions and only for the purpose shown:
- Render: hosting, databases and backups, in the United States.
- Stripe: subscription and license payments (card details go to Stripe, never to us).
- Resend: sending email.
- Anthropic: building assistants and answering typed conversations.
- OpenAI: voice conversations and transcription.
- Twilio: phone numbers, calls and text messages, only when phone answering is switched on (with The Campaign Registry for US text registration).

Does Onda record calls, and who sees the transcripts?
No audio is ever recorded. Conversations are transcribed after the caller agrees, and only members of the business's workspace can read them. Transcripts and caller details are deleted after the retention period the owner picks, 30 days by default, and customer data is never used to train AI models.
